ARENA IP was established in 2017.
ARENA’s patent attorneys give a wide range of service encompassing novelty and infringement searches, patent portfolio management, advice on patentability of inventions, drafting patent specifications, filing and prosecuting patent applications, infringement and validity of patents, and patent opposition proceedings.

Jung-Il BAE, a managing partner at ARENA IP, specializes in the field of patents, utility models and designs in the field of general machinery, power plant equipment, vehicles, steel manufacture, display devices and home appliances.
Prior to founding ARENA IP in 2017, he worked as a research engineer at Mando Machinery Corporation for 5 years, and as a patent attorney at HANSUNG Intellectual Property (formerly HANSUNG International Patent & Law Office) for about 14 years.
With extensive expertise and experience, Mr. Bae has worked for domestic clients including LG Electronics, POSCO and KCC and foreign clients including Dow Chemical Company, Whirlpool S.A. and Livedo Corporation.
